Kurt Vonnegut collection, 1945-2011.

The collection consists of six letters written by or to Kurt Vonnegut. The main item is a copy of a letter written by Vonnegut to his father shortly after his release from a prisoner of war camp. In it he gives a detailed account of his capture and imprisonment, including a description of the Dresden bombing. The remaining five letters from 1970-1980 deal with Vonnegut family genealogy and correspondence with the Indiana Historical Society. Also included is a paper by Lee Little about Vonnegut written in 2011, entitled, "I Left Indianapolis Because the Money Was Gone."
